Through concrete actions focused on communities, education, infrastructure and entrepreneurship, we reaffirm our responsible mining model and long-term territorial commitment.<\/p>\n

Salta, December 2025<\/b> \u2013 At Eramet Eramine, we close 2025 with a highly positive assessment of our social and territorial management in the province of Salta, consolidating an operating model based on dialogue, sustainability and the creation of shared value with the communities in our area of influence.<\/p>\n

While supporting the responsible development of resources essential to the energy transition, and under the motto \u201cCommitted to sustainable metals,\u201d<\/b> we advanced a comprehensive agenda of initiatives aimed at strengthening local development, improving quality of life and promoting inclusive growth.<\/p>\n

Throughout the year, we implemented projects focused on education, community infrastructure, entrepreneurship and productive development, all aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These initiatives delivered tangible results and reinforced our long-term commitment to the region.<\/p>\n

A key pillar of this approach is the \u201cEramet Beyond for Contributive Impacts\u201d<\/b> program, through which we seek to foster sustainable local economies based on three core pillars: economic diversification, reduction of inequalities and environmental resilience. The program is implemented in close partnership with local NGOs and social enterprises, ensuring initiatives are tailored to the specific needs and realities of each community.<\/p>\n

By combining operational excellence with a strong social commitment, we continue to position ourselves as a responsible mining company, firmly anchored in the territory and focused on building lasting value for present and future generations.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Tangible impact on the territory<\/b><\/h2>\n

During 2025, we implemented in Salta projects structured around four strategic pillars \u2014 entrepreneurship, infrastructure, quality of life and education \u2014 achieving measurable results:<\/p>\n

  • More than 138 adults<\/b> trained in entrepreneurial skills and business management.<\/li>\n
  • 179 students<\/b> participated in the Semillero Emprendedor program in Salta City and San Antonio de los Cobres.<\/li>\n
  • Delivery of 9,080 kg of alfalfa<\/b>, 4,840 kg of maize<\/b>, and 33,412 kg of valorized organic waste<\/b> through the High-Altitude Livestock Program.<\/li>\n
  • 25 people<\/b> trained in sustainable agricultural production through greenhouse projects.<\/li>\n
  • Installation of satellite internet in eight rural herder households<\/b>, improving connectivity for families living in remote areas.<\/li>\n
  • 40 educational scholarships<\/b> (secondary, tertiary and university level) awarded in partnership with Fundaci\u00f3n Anpuy, the National University of Salta and other institutions.<\/li>\n
  • 76 residents<\/b> from Santa Rosa de los Pastos Grandes, Salar de Pocitos and Tolar Grande enrolled in virtual English-language training programs.<\/li>\n
  • Provision of more than 200,000 liters of water for sanitation<\/b> and 5,328 liters of drinking water<\/b>, ensuring safe access for 100% of families in the Centenario and Ratones salt flats.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Productive development and community strengthening<\/b><\/h2>\n

    We consolidated the entrepreneurship pillar through the C\u00edrculo Emprendedor<\/b> and Semillero Emprendedor<\/b> programs, implemented in multiple locations across the province with a focus on triple-impact projects. These initiatives promoted economic autonomy and job creation beyond the mining value chain, strengthening long-term local resilience.<\/p>\n

    In terms of infrastructure, we advanced housing improvements, solar water heater monitoring and expanded digital connectivity, always respecting traditional construction practices and the unique environmental conditions of the Puna.<\/p>\n

    The quality-of-life pillar included sustained actions to ensure access to water, food support, firewood provision for heating, and ongoing support for herder families \u2014 whose livelihoods are central to the local economy.<\/p>\n

    Education as a driver of the future<\/b><\/h2>\n

    Education remained a cornerstone of our social strategy. Throughout the year, we strengthened scholarship programs, paid internships, vocational training, safe operation courses for road machinery, and partnerships with organizations such as Junior Achievement, universities and educational institutions.<\/p>\n

    These initiatives expanded access to education, improved local employability and strengthened links between academia and the world of work.<\/p>\n

    Active presence and ongoing dialogue<\/b><\/h2>\n

    In addition to our structured programs, we supported cultural activities, traditional festivities and community events in Santa Rosa de los Pastos Grandes, San Antonio de los Cobres and other localities, reaffirming a close and sustained presence in the territory.<\/p>\n

    This work was complemented by permanent dialogue mechanisms, including community assemblies, social roundtables, consultation channels and participatory environmental monitoring, ensuring transparency and continuous engagement with local stakeholders.<\/p>\n

    Closing the year with a long-term vision<\/b><\/h2>\n

    As 2025 comes to an end, we reaffirm our commitment to responsible mining, fully integrated with the territory and oriented toward sustainable development, convinced that industrial growth is only possible when it goes hand in hand with people\u2019s well-being and environmental stewardship.<\/p>\n
