In May, we had the opportunity to participate in two key events for the mining industry: Sustainable Mining 2025, held in Santiago, Chile, and Arminera 2025, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Both events brought together global leaders, professionals, and academics to reflect on the present and future of responsible mining, with a strong focus on environmental stewardship, community engagement, and technological innovation.

At Sustainable Mining 2025, we shared our experience as one of the most important lithium projects in northern Argentina to enter into production. It was a valuable opportunity to engage in dialogue with peers and experts about how we embed sustainability into every step of our operations—from permitting processes and community relations to local employment and development initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and the technical aspects of our production process, including product quality and continuous improvement.

At Arminera, Argentina’s leading mining exhibition, we reconnected with many of our partners, suppliers, and colleagues in the industry. We presented how we are working toward a purpose-driven mining model—one that places sustainability at the core and strives for continuous improvement through a holistic approach.

These events inspire us to move forward with humility and commitment. We know the challenges are significant, but so is the potential of our industry to drive development, generate employment, and foster transformation with a focus on collective well-being. We firmly believe that by working together and scaling up best practices, the mining sector can lead the way toward a more just and sustainable future.
