A bond based on dialogue
From the very outset of the exploratory phase, at a time where no one knew the economic feasibility of a project in the Centenario Ratones area, Eramine had already developed a strong dialogue with local authorities and the communities living in Salta.
There have been regular meetings and encounters with the neighboring communities, which have been instrumental in maintaining constant dialogue and cooperation on projects aimed at the sustainable development of the region.
By explaining the different stages of the project, its benefits as all its potential impacts, Eramine’s team has been transparent and scrupulous when it comes to sharing information with the local community. The team has been at pains to listen to and respond to the needs of the community.
These initiatives reflect the company’s long-term vision, which goes beyond compliance with regulations or operational requirements, meaning people are at the center of our strategy: their integrity, safety and development, respecting their diversity and local cultural context.
At Eramine, we see the relationship with the community as an open dialogue, in which the company shares its vision of development, all the while respecting local cultural needs.
In February 2020, the Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) process was conducted, pursuant to the ILO 169 Convention, in which the community expressed its support for the project.
Later, in May 2022, they reaffirmed their support during the Quarterly Assembly.
Complaint and inquiry form
Eramine established an open communication system with its stakeholders throughout the life of the project.
Thanks to this, today there are several ways to send queries or complaints to the CSR team.
