The dream becomes true
After many years of hard work, the construction of the lithium carbonate production plant at the Centenario Ratones camp, is underway. Each of the actions are carried out in accordance with the highest industry standards, the organization is committed to operate in a responsible way.
During the first quarter of 2022, the conditioning process of the mining camp was started so that it is ready to receive all the people to carry out the construction tasks, as well as to attend to the operational continuity of the project.
This is a major work that involves the assembly of 5,900 tons of steel structures and will last a year and a half. The plant will be operational in early 2024 and will have a production capacity of 24,000 tons of battery grade lithium carbonate, using a high performance and environmentally friendly extraction process developed by Eramet Ideas.
