Throughout 2024, Eramine has implemented multiple initiatives aimed at promoting quality education. Through scholarships for secondary and higher education, professional internships, and group workshops, we have created opportunities for young people.

At Eramine, we understand that our purpose goes beyond mining; it also lies in the positive impact we can generate within the communities where we operate. Therefore, we are proud to share the outcomes of our commitment to education and the personal development of young individuals who, thanks to their efforts and the support provided, are building a future full of possibilities.

Scholarships for Higher and Secondary Education with Anpuy Foundation

In partnership with the Anpuy Foundation, we have supported the educational journey of 18 students: 10 young individuals continued their university and tertiary studies in fields such as Nursing, Law, Geology, and Engineering, while 8 pursued their secondary education at various institutions in Salta and San Antonio de los Cobres. We are proud to announce that three of these students have graduated from secondary school.

Through financial scholarships, group workshops, and personalized tutoring, we support young people in overcoming economic and social challenges that hinder access to education. More than half of our beneficiaries are women, reflecting our commitment to equity and inclusion.

A Step Towards the Future with Junior Achievement

In collaboration with Junior Achievement, we carried out two educational initiatives that made a significant impact at Eramine. Through the “Partners Program,” we welcomed 9 final-year secondary students to spend a day working alongside professionals in the fields they aspire to study. The goal is to help them develop skills that strengthen their vocational paths and improve their integration into the workforce. In an unforgettable experience, 120 young people participated in over 30 companies, shadowing professionals in their desired careers, while more than 425 students engaged in virtual activities and workshops to support their vocational journeys.

Additionally, in the Innovation Challenge, 76 young women from public schools worked in teams to develop innovative solutions to challenges proposed by our professionals. The objective was to encourage girls and young women to pursue STEAM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Beyond learning strategic thinking and planning tools, they demonstrated the creativity and drive necessary to lead the future. Both activities were supported by company volunteers who, despite their busy schedules, dedicated time to inspiring and motivating these young individuals to achieve their goals.

Promoting Vocations at the National University of Salta

Focusing on professional development, in 2024 we renewed our agreement with the Faculty of Engineering at the National University of Salta, expanding support from 4 to 10 scholarships for students in Industrial, Chemical, and Electromechanical Engineering. Thanks to this joint effort, future professionals continue their education with the confidence that they can achieve their dreams.

Building Bridges for Local Employment Development

Responding to the needs of the community closest to our operations, we conducted a Basic Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Workshop at the Santa Rosa de los Pastos Grandes Integration and Business Center. Over five sessions, members of the Eramine team trained participants in essential digital tools such as Windows, Word, Excel, and Internet navigation. We also refurbished and updated community computers to facilitate their use.

We recognize the value of experiential learning for future leaders: in 2024, we continued with seven supervised professional internships in fields such as Industrial, Chemical, and Electromechanical Engineering, Law, and Maintenance. Among these students, five were women, and thanks to their dedication, five interns were hired as company employees.

In every educational and social project we undertake, we reaffirm our belief that opportunities make the difference. Over the past year, we have invested more than 45 million pesos in educational programs that not only transform lives but also foster a legacy of sustainability, inclusion, and development.

Every scholarship awarded, every workshop conducted, and every story of personal growth inspires us to continue. At Eramine, we know that by investing in education, we are investing in a fairer, more equitable future full of possibilities for all.
