Salta, May 2025 – As part of Eramine’s ongoing institutional engagement with provincial authorities, Paulo Castellari, the incoming CEO of the Eramet Group, met with Salta’s Governor Gustavo Sáenz alongside senior company executives to discuss the progress of the Centenario-Ratones project and the company’s growth outlook in the province.

The meeting was attended by Alejandro Moro, CEO of Eramine South America, who highlighted the significance of the visit:

“This meeting was an excellent opportunity to share Eramet’s long-term vision with the Governor and to reaffirm that, as long as competitive conditions are in place, Salta will remain a key focus in our future investment strategy.”

During the meeting, details were shared about the ramp-up of the industrial plant located in the Centenario-Ratones salt flat, which is now operational, with the goal of reaching full production capacity by late 2025 or early 2026. Discussions also covered the progress of the exploration project in the Arizaro salt flat, near the Tolar Grande area.

Romina Sassarini, Salta’s Secretary of Mining and Energy, welcomed the meeting as a sign of confidence in the province:

“We continue to receive investment in exploration, and the presence of companies like Eramine demonstrates a long-term commitment to Salta’s mining development.”

Also present at the meeting were Constanza Cintioni, Eramine’s Sustainability Director; Paul Bosc Bierne, Chief of Staff of Eramet; and Jean-Baptiste Hogard, Head of the Lithium Business Unit of the Eramet Group.

This meeting reaffirms Eramine’s commitment to the sustainable development of mining in Salta and to building strong institutional relationships based on dialogue, transparency, and a shared vision for the region’s future.
