On 1 November, the historic parish church of San Juan Bautista de La Merced, in the heart of Salta, hosted a moving free concert in honor of the centenary of the death of the famous French composer Gabriel Fauré. This event, funded by Eramine as part of its contribution to culture, offered the local community and lovers of classical music an unforgettable evening, highlighting the company’s commitment to the province’s historical heritage.

The program featured the exquisite Suite Masques et Bergamasques, Op. 112 by Fauré, a piece that captures his neoclassical style, marked by its delicacy and charm. Additionally, the evening included Concertino for Flute, Op. 107 by Cécile Chaminade, with the talented flautist Marina Tiburcio as the soloist.

To close the night, the orchestra delivered a stunning performance of César Franck’s Symphony in D minor, a cornerstone of the Romantic symphonic repertoire. This event offered a unique experience for classical music enthusiasts, and we are proud to have supported it as a company, funding this cultural initiative.

At Eramine, we are committed to supporting art and culture in Salta, because we believe that it is a way to value it and promote local development.
