On a very special day, we inaugurated our production plant, which will contribute to the economic growth of the province and the well-being of all the people living in the heart of the Salta highlands.
We have reached one of the most important milestones of the year with the commissioning of our plant, which will start producing battery grade lithium carbonate in November.
We dressed up our camp for a party and coordinated the logistics with high safety standards.
We had the presence of Christel Bories, CEO of Eramet; Xiang Jinyu, representative of President Tsingshan Xiang Guangda; Alejandro Moro, CEO of Eramine; Gustavo Sáenz, Governor of the Province of Salta; Diana Mondino, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Religious Affairs of the Argentine Republic; Luis Lucero, Secretary of Mining of the Nation; the Minister of Production and Sustainable Development of the Province of Salta, Martín de los Ríos; the Secretary of Mining and Energy, Romina Sassarini; the authorities of the Department of Los Andes; the President of the Kolla Andina Community of Santa Rosa de los Pastos Grandes, Dionicia Rodríguez; and representatives of the French and Chinese governments.
In the afternoon, we held a press conference for more than 40 international, national and provincial media. It was attended by Christel Bories, CEO of Eramet, John Li, President of Tsingshan and Alejandro Moro, CEO of Eramine South America.
We ended the day with a toast, where we were able to share a moment of celebration with the authorities, representatives of the mining sector, contractors, social organizations with whom we have worked and, above all, with the great team we have managed to build.
