We held an important meeting between officials from Eramine and government authorities of the Province of Salta, including the Secretariat of Labor, under the Ministry of Government, Human Rights, and Labor; the Secretariat of Mining and Energy, under the Ministry of Production and Sustainable Development; and the General Directorate of Epidemiological Coordination, under the Ministry of Public Health. The Medical Board of LABTEC, an occupational health service, also participated in the meeting.
The main objective of the meeting was to transparently update the information previously provided regarding the detected cases of gastroenteritis in our mining camp. During the meeting, we detailed the measures implemented, explained the activated health protocol to contain the situation, and the preventive measures adopted to avoid future incidents. Additionally, in collaboration with the present entities, we outlined the training that will be provided to teams to reinforce safety and health standards in the workplace.
We appreciate the willingness and support of the authorities present, trusting that this coordinated effort will continue to strengthen the working conditions of our activities.
