In line with its commitment to promoting quality education and supporting the development of local talent, Eramine welcomed 10 high school students as part of SOCIOS, a Junior Achievement initiative aimed at inspiring and preparing young people for their academic and professional future.

During a very special day, 13 members of the Eramine team volunteered their time, generously opening up their workspaces to accompany the students. They shared their daily routines, career experiences, and professional paths, offering a close, human, and authentic look into the various professions that make up the mining and corporate world.

Through this immersive experience, students had the opportunity to witness first-hand what it’s like to work in a growing company, to explore the challenges and learnings that each role entails, and to discover potential educational paths that can lead them to their goals.

“We deeply believe in the transformative power of education and in our responsibility as a company to create meaningful opportunities that motivate new generations. We are proud to see our teams share their time, experience, and passion with young people who are building their future,”

said Constanza Cintioni, Sustainability Director at Eramine.

This initiative was part of a new edition of the SOCIOS program in Salta, which took place on Thursday, June 26. Over 200 students participated in immersive experiences in different workplaces, guided by more than 100 volunteer professionals from a variety of organizations. In total, 301 students took part in the program this year.

The day concluded at the COPAIPA headquarters, where students received certificates and heartfelt words of encouragement and appreciation were shared by authorities, volunteers, and partner organizations.

In a country where only 3 out of 10 university students complete their degree on time, and over 60% drop out during the first year (National Secretariat of University Policies, 2021), initiatives like this one are essential to help young people make informed vocational decisions and build meaningful academic and professional paths.

At Eramine, we reaffirm our commitment to the sustainable development of the communities where we operate. We strive for growth with positive impact, supporting educational programs that bring young people closer to the world of work and empower them to envision, pursue, and unlock their full potential.
