In October 2026, we reached our nominal production capacity of 2,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate per month at our plant located in the Centenario-Ratones salt flat, in the Puna region of Salta, Argentina. This milestone represents significant progress in consolidating our operations and opens a new chapter of growth for Eramet Eramine.
With this achievement, we completed the ramp-up process, a 15-month period during which we progressively increased production levels until reaching the plant’s planned capacity.
In June 2026, we had already reached 90% of our nominal capacity, with the expectation of achieving 100% by the end of the year. Thanks to the progress of our operations, we were able to reach this target two months ahead of schedule.
Reaching 2,000 tonnes per month, just 15 months after the start of the ramp-up process, is a major milestone for our operation. Behind this achievement lies a journey of learning, overcoming challenges and, above all, the strong commitment of our teams. Today, we see the results of that journey reflected in our production capacity, marking a key step towards continued growth
Next stage: Expanding Centenario-Ratones
As part of our growth plans in Salta, we are evaluating an initial expansion of our Centenario-Ratones plant, which would add approximately 11,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate per year to our current annual capacity of 24,000 tonnes, bringing the total to nearly 35,000 tonnes per year.
